Patient Management

This section contains resources to aid patient management. It gives an outline of Treatment Options that can be explained to patients, and also addresses specific practical issues relating to treatment with Metvix^®. Tips are included on minimising any patient discomfort (Practical Issues) and can be read in conjunction the section that provides greater detail on the Procedure.

Below, you will find downloadable Fact Sheets specifically designed to inform the patient about his or her condition and provide reassurance. Frequently asked questions (FAQs) are also addressed.

There is also a downloadable Patient Leaflet specifically designed for Metvix^® recipients which guides the patient through the procedure and answers common questions.  Patients should, in addition, always read the actual patient leaflet provided with the product.
